This sword was presented to the officer of the White Army after the battle in Gallipoli against Red Army.
The inscription on a blade is a poem.
I cannot translate exact, but it looks like this:
On the one side:
"If there would be a call to fight for Russia and Freedom,
then Kornilovtsi would go through water and fire.
March into battle!"
On another side:
"Although only disgrace, lies and oppression surrounds us,                                                                                          we are Kornilovtsi and despise of plebs would do no harm to us.                                                                           March into battle!"
Kornilov was very well known general in White Army.
The troops in his Army calls themselves Kornilovtsi
